But instead of replicating the original control-box architecture, Saber Works stripped the design down to its essence. Choosing Your Configuration

Three boards, three blade lengths, one blade diameter. Here is what actually changes when you choose.

S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the choice for anyone who intends to duel hard and often. Smooth swing included. This is the configuration that shrugs off punishment, and it pairs naturally with a hilt rebuilt for real dueling ergonomics.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. Nothing to configure. This is where most collectors land, and it makes the most of the polished aluminum body under low light.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture ignition, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie to tinker. Choose SNV4 to have it perfect out of the box.

Blade diameter — This hilt takes a 1” blade. A 1” blade has a thicker wall and throws more light, so it is brighter and slightly more robust than the 7/8” blades used elsewhere in the range. The two diameters are not interchangeable, so order to match this hilt.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence.

One thing worth knowing before you order: removing the external control box is not a cosmetic decision. It clears the section of hilt your lower hand naturally wants, which means no obstruction on a two-handed grip and no hot spot after twenty minutes of sparring. At approximately 11 inches and around a pound, the SE sits light and forward-balanced — quick through transitions, and far kinder over a long session than the boxed original silhouette.

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

How is the SE different from the standard Chosen One?

Will my 7/8” blades fit?

No. This is a 1” blade hilt. The two diameters are not interchangeable, so order the blade that matches.

Can I change the blade colour?

Yes, on every configuration. All three boards give full blade-color control, and Proffie adds custom blade styles and sound fonts on top.
