Pirate Wizard
PIRATE WIZARD
“Not of the Order. Not of the dark order. Just dangerous.”
Forged far from temples, orders, and prophecy, the Pirate Wizard is a saber born of the fringe — the outer reaches’ answer to tradition. Inspired by the enigmatic weapons carried by a pair of outlaw adepts in the source material, this saber blends raw scavenger ingenuity with ancient mysticism.
Weathered. Unorthodox. Unmistakably powerful.
This is not the blade of a knight trained in marble halls — it’s the weapon of a survivor who learned the current the hard way. When ignited, the Pirate Wizard hums with instability and intent, as if the saber itself has stories it refuses to tell.
Design Inspiration
The Pirate Wizard draws directly from the outlaw-fringe aesthetic — a galaxy seen through the eyes of smugglers, children, and wanderers. Its design feels salvaged yet intentional, blending smooth machined sections with rugged grip elements and exposed mechanical character.
This saber looks like it’s been repaired a dozen times…
And survived every single one.
It’s a perfect fusion of pirate ingenuity and wizard-like mastery of the energy — a weapon that doesn’t follow rules, because it never needed to.

Choosing Your Configuration
Three boards, three blade lengths, one blade diameter. Here is what actually changes when you choose.
S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the choice for anyone who intends to duel hard and often. Smooth swing included. On a hilt built to look salvaged and survive anything, this is the configuration that matches the story.
SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. No setup needed on your part. This is where most collectors land.
Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. If you want a saber that hums with instability because you wrote it that way, this is the board. Choose SNV4 instead if you want it perfect out of the box.
Blade diameter — The Pirate Wizard takes a 1” blade, not the 7/8” used across parts of our range. A 1” blade has a thicker wall and throws more light, so it runs brighter and slightly more robust. If you already own blades, check what you have before ordering — the two diameters are not interchangeable between hilts.
Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence.
At approximately 11–11.5 inches and around a pound, this is a full-size hilt with rugged grip sections rather than a slim, polished one. Those textured zones give you real traction in a loose, improvised, unpredictable style — the kind of movement this saber was designed to reward.

Common Questions
Is this saber suitable for real dueling?
Yes. Machined aluminum alloy hilt, reinforced removable chassis and a combat-ready polycarbonate blade rated for full contact. For heavy, frequent use the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; the pixel boards duel well too, but carry more electronics inside the blade.
What are the rugged grip sections like?
They are machined into the hilt itself, not applied over it. The result is a higher-friction hold than a smooth polished body, which is what you want for the loose, improvised handling this design invites.
Will my 7/8” blades fit this hilt?
No. The Pirate Wizard is a 1” blade saber. The two diameters are not interchangeable, so order the blade that matches this hilt.
Can I change the blade colour?
Yes, on every configuration. All three boards offer fully customizable blade colors, and Proffie adds custom blade styles on top of that.
How long does it take to arrive?
