Choosing Your Configuration

Three boards, one very unusual blade. Here is what actually changes when you pick.

S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the choice for anyone who intends to duel hard and often. Smooth swing included. On a hilt built and balanced specifically for full-contact combat, this is the configuration that shrugs off punishment.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and crisp clash effects fire at the exact point of impact. No setup needed on your part, and this is where most collectors land.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie if you want to tinker. Choose SNV4 if you want it perfect out of the box.

The blade itself. This is a 1” flat-profile blade, not a round one — the whole point of the design. It behaves differently in the air, it reads as a hard-edged silhouette rather than a tube of light, and it is not interchangeable with round blades or with 7/8” hilts. Length options are offered at checkout; a shorter blade suits tight choreography and indoor sparring, a longer one buys reach and display presence.

One thing worth knowing before you order: this is one of the lightest hilts we build, at roughly 0.95–1 lb over 11 inches, with a deliberately slimmed grip profile. That combination is why it survives long training sessions without hand fatigue — and why it suits duelists and choreographers more than collectors who want heft on a stand.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes — it is the reason the hilt was slimmed in the first place. Precision-machined aluminum alloy over a reinforced removable core, and a combat-grade polycarbonate blade rated for full contact. For heavy, frequent use the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; pixel blades are duel-ready too, but carry more electronics inside the blade.

What is a flat-profile blade actually like to use?

Different from a round blade, and that is the appeal. The flat profile gives you the hard-edged black-blade silhouette rather than a cylinder of light, and it cuts through the air with a slightly different feel. It is a distinctive blade, not a cosmetic option.

Can I use my existing blades with it?

No. This hilt is built around its own 1” flat-profile blade. Round blades and 7/8” blades will not substitute for it, so order the blade configuration you want with the saber.

Why is this lighter than other black-blade replicas?

Because the bulk was removed on purpose. Traditional versions of this hilt are built as throne-room display pieces. The SE trims the body profile and slims the grip, which is what gives you tighter spins, faster transitions and far less hand fatigue across a long training session.

How long does it take to arrive?
