Design Inspiration

The Dark Hunter was designed as a saber for elite adepts who operate beyond doctrine — bounty hunters, fallen knights, mercenaries, and shadow warriors who answer to no Order. Its aggressive geometry, industrial accents, and exposed crystal core give it a raw, almost predatory presence.

At its heart lies a dual spinning crystal chamber, visible through precision-cut windows — a visual signature of controlled chaos. This saber feels alive in the hand, built to intimidate before the first strike is ever thrown.

Choosing Your Configuration

Three boards. Three blade lengths. Here is what actually changes when you choose.

S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the choice for anyone who intends to duel hard and often. Smooth swing is included. This is the configuration that shrugs off punishment.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. No setup is needed on your part, and this is where most collectors land.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie if you want to tinker. Choose SNV4 if you want it perfect out of the box.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence, and it balances the longer hilt well.

Blade diameter — The Dark Hunter takes a 1” blade. A 1” blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than the 7/8” blades used elsewhere; the two are not interchangeable between hilts, so order to match anything you already own.

Two things worth knowing before you commit. First, this is one of the longer hilts we build — roughly 11 to 12 inches and around a pound — so it favours a firm, deliberate two-handed grip and heavier dueling over feather-light spinning. Second, the exposed dual spinning crystal chamber is a feature on every configuration, and all three boards synchronise the chamber lighting with the blade. It glows and turns whether you are fighting with it or leaving it lit on the stand.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes. The hilt is precision-machined aluminum alloy built around a reinforced removable internal core, and the blade is combat-grade polycarbonate rated for full-contact use. For heavy, frequent dueling the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; the pixel boards are also duel-ready but carry more electronics inside the blade.

Is the crystal chamber really exposed, and does it survive contact?

It is genuinely open — the dual spinning chamber is visible through precision-cut windows rather than hidden behind a panel, and it lights in sync with the blade. It sits within the machined body of the hilt rather than proud of it, so it is protected by the same aluminum structure that takes the rest of the impact.

Is the Dark Hunter based on a character?

No. This is an original TXQ design rather than a replica of anyone’s blade, which is exactly why it looks like nothing else on a display shelf. It was drawn for presence and performance first.

Which blade length should I order?

32” is standard for most adults. Choose 26” if you are shorter, duel indoors, or want faster handling from a hilt that is already on the longer side. Choose 36” for maximum reach and display presence.

How long does it take to arrive?
