Choosing Your Configuration

Three boards. Three blade lengths. Here is what actually changes when you choose.

S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the choice for anyone who intends to duel hard and often. Smooth swing is included. On a hilt built this deliberately for extended wielding, it is the setup that takes the most abuse.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. It needs no setup on your part, and it is where most collectors land.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie if you want to tinker. Choose SNV4 if you want it perfect out of the box.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence.

Blade diameter — The Electrum Wind SE takes a 1” blade. A 1” blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than the 7/8” blades used elsewhere in the range, and the two are not interchangeable between hilts. Order to match anything you already own.

What makes this hilt worth choosing on its own terms is the grip. At roughly 11 inches and around a pound, with simplified ergonomic choke points and the greebling deliberately reduced, nothing catches your hand as it travels. That makes it one of the better hilts in the range for spins, flourishes and long sessions where fatigue decides the duel. If you want the purple preset for display, run any blade length; if you want it for flow, take the 26”.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes. The hilt is polished aluminum alloy over a reinforced removable internal core, and the blade is combat-grade polycarbonate rated for full-contact use. For heavy, frequent dueling the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; the pixel boards are also duel-ready but carry more electronics inside the blade.

Does it come in purple?

Yes. Purple is available on every configuration — all three boards offer fully customizable blade colors, and the iconic purple is the one this hilt was drawn around.

What does the “SE” change compared with the standard design?

Bulk and detail. The Special Edition removes excessive protrusions and greebling in favor of simplified, ergonomic choke points, so the silhouette is preserved while the grip becomes cleaner and easier to move through. It is the version built for people who actually swing it.

Is this a good saber for spinning and flourishes?

It is one of the better ones we build for exactly that. The streamlined grip sections mean nothing snags mid-transition, and at roughly a pound it stays controllable through long sequences. Pair it with a 26” blade for the fastest handling.
