Design Inspiration

Kamino Sin SE takes its name from the storm-lashed world that forged the secret apprentice — a place of vats, conditioning and manufactured purpose, where a life was engineered rather than lived. The saber’s streamlined profile reflects the philosophy of its wielder: no ornamentation unless it serves power.

Gone are unnecessary flares and oversized sections. In their place: a compact hilt, aggressive grip geometry, and a silhouette meant for relentless movement. It honors the secret apprentice’s legacy — but evolves it for modern dueling and real-world performance.

Choosing Your Configuration

Three boards. Three blade lengths. One blade diameter. Here is what actually changes when you choose.

S-RGB — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the configuration to pick if you intend to duel hard and often. Smooth swing is included. On a hilt built this deliberately for combat, it is the setup that shrugs off punishment for the longest.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. No setup is needed on your part. This is where most collectors land.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie if you want to tinker. Choose SNV4 if you want it perfect out of the box.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence.

Blade diameter — Kamino Sin SE takes a 1” blade. A 1” blade has a thicker wall and throws more light than the 7/8” blades used elsewhere in the range, and the two are not interchangeable between hilts. If you already own blades, check what you have before you order.

One thing worth knowing about this hilt in particular: it is short, slim and light — roughly 10.75 to 11 inches and under a pound. That makes it one of the fastest things you can put in your hand, and it rewards spins, tight transitions and long sessions. If you want a heavy, authority-weighted blade that lands like a hammer, this is not that saber. If you want speed, it is exactly that saber, and a 26” blade will make it faster still.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes. The hilt is precision-machined aluminum alloy over a reinforced removable internal core, and the blade is combat-grade polycarbonate rated for full-contact use. For heavy, frequent dueling the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; the pixel boards are also duel-ready but carry more electronics inside the blade itself.

What does the “SE” actually change?

Balance, grip and bulk. The Special Edition is the slimmed, duel-optimized interpretation of the design — a shorter hilt, a tighter choke, and reduced mass where mass was doing nothing but slowing you down. It is the same lineage, engineered for people who fight with it rather than only display it.

Can I change the blade color?

Yes, on every configuration. All three boards allow fully customizable blade colors, and the pixel options add custom blade styles on top of that.

Is this a good saber for spinning and choreography?

It is one of the best in the range for it. The slimmed grip profile, the balanced center of gravity and the sub-one-pound weight all pull in the same direction. Pair it with a 26” blade for the most agile setup this hilt can be built into.
