Design Inspiration

The Moonshadow is crafted as an ultra-accurate recreation of the saber wielded by a relentless pale apprentice, seen during the events of the source material.

Built using archival-level reference and precision machining standards, Elf Sabers faithfully reproduces every defining element:

Choosing Your Configuration

Moonshadow is not a three-board saber. There is one choice, and it decides whether you are buying a finished weapon or the machining to build one.

Proffieboard V3.9 — installed. The complete saber, assembled by Elf Sabers with precise alignment, stable electronics mounting and long-term reliability built in. Proffie is the fully programmable board: fully customizable blade profiles, advanced ignition and retraction effects, full RGB color customization, pixel-level lighting precision and configuration files you can edit yourself. Ours receives 15 licensed K-Sith sound fonts at our Florida workshop, arrives with the battery included and preconfigured, and is calibrated before it ships. Ignite it on day one; rewrite it on day one hundred.

Empty Collector Shell. The precision-machined hilt shell only, without electronics, battery or blade, for custom builders and advanced collectors installing their own internals. What you are buying is the metal — the anodized finish, the chrome-plated accents, the fully removable precision chassis — and the freedom to fill it yourself.

Blade. A 1 inch blade system with a 32 inch NeoPixel blade included. There is no length menu; 32 inches is the standard adult length and it is what the proportions of this hilt were drawn around. A 1 inch blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than 7/8 inch, and the two are not interchangeable between hilts — check your existing blades before ordering spares.

What it feels like to hold. The grip profile is minimalist and high-control, the proportions balanced and tactical, drawn for aggressive movement rather than ceremony. The 1 inch configuration gives excellent visual presence while keeping the balance comfortable through a transition, which is why Moonshadow suits controlled spinning, choreography and cosplay performance as readily as it suits a display stand.

Common Questions

What is the difference between the installed version and the Empty Collector Shell?

The installed version is a finished saber — Proffieboard V3.9 fitted by Elf Sabers, battery included and preconfigured, 32 inch NeoPixel blade, blade plug, charger and tool kit, with 15 licensed K-Sith sound fonts added at our Florida workshop. Empty versions are the precision-machined hilt shell only, for custom builders and advanced collectors fitting their own electronics.

Can I change the blade colour?

Yes. Proffieboard V3.9 offers full RGB colour customization and fully customizable blade profiles, so the amber that defines this design is a starting point rather than a limit.

Why a 1 inch blade rather than 7/8 inch?

The 1 inch configuration gives excellent visual presence — a thicker wall and a brighter throw — while keeping the balance comfortable for handling and movement. Note that 1 inch and 7/8 inch blades are not interchangeable between hilts.

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Stated on the facts: the hilt is CNC-machined aluminum with a precision anodized finish and a fully removable precision chassis, professionally installed and tested for stable power performance and ignition consistency. The saber is engineered for display excellence while remaining comfortable for controlled spinning, choreography and cosplay performance. Heavy, frequent full-contact dueling is not what this model is specified for — our combat-built hilts are.

How long does it take to arrive?
