Design Inspiration

Modeled after the crossguard hilt discovered within the shattered ruins of a bygone age of the Order, this design reflects both ancient tradition and battle-born adaptation. The wide pommel, reinforced emitter walls, and V-cut choke all draw directly from the refined cinematic lines of the original design.

The Survivor’s journey is about rebuilding yourself — piece by piece — and this saber embodies that transformation: broken, reforged, and made stronger than before.

Choosing Your Configuration

The Shattered Moon is a pixel saber. Both boards give you a full-length LED blade — an LED strip running the entire length of the polycarbonate, so ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. The crossguard side-blade emitters are part of the pixel configuration, and the crossguard ignition is the effect this hilt exists for.

SNV4 Pixel — Excellent straight out of the box with no setup required. Travelling ignition, localized flash-on-clash, and the crossguard flare, all tuned and ready. This is the right pick unless you specifically want to program the board yourself.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. This is where the scorch effects and unstable blade styles can be shaped into something of your own.

Blade diameter — This hilt takes a 1” blade, not the 7/8” used across much of our range. A 1” blade has a thicker wall and throws noticeably more light, which is what a hilt this size deserves. The two diameters are not interchangeable between hilts, so check what you already own before you order.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default here. 36” is reach and display presence, and on a hilt with this silhouette it is a genuinely imposing thing to have on a stand.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes. The hilt is machined aluminium with a reinforced emitter design, and the blade is combat-grade polycarbonate rated for full contact. The crossguard emitters are built into that reinforced chamber rather than bolted on, which is why this hilt takes heavy use so well.

Do the crossguard blades light up?

Yes — the crossguard side-blade emitters are included with the pixel configuration, and the crossguard ignition sequence is the signature effect of this saber.

What is the difference between a 1” and a 7/8” blade?

A 1” blade has a thicker wall and throws more light, which makes it brighter and slightly more robust. A 7/8” blade is lighter and faster in the hand. They are not interchangeable between hilts, and this saber takes the 1”.

Which blade length should I order?

32” is the standard adult dueling length and suits most people. Choose 36” for maximum reach and the strongest display presence — on a hilt with this silhouette, it is the one that dominates a room.
