The battery is included and preconfigured, and 15 licensed K-Sith sound fonts are loaded free before shipment. It arrives tested and ready to ignite; the programming depth is there when you want it, not before.

Empty Collector Shell — The precision machined hilt alone, with its removable internal chassis and no electronics inside. No board, no battery, no sound. This is the option for custom builders and for collectors who want the curved silhouette and intend to specify everything else themselves.

Blade platform — The Veiled ships with a 32 inch blade at 1 inch diameter. Thirty-two inches is the standard adult length and the right proportion for this hilt: long enough for reach and presence, short enough that the wrist-driven strikes the curved grip is built for still land clean. A 1 inch blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than a 7/8 inch blade; a 7/8 inch blade is lighter and faster. The two are not interchangeable between hilts, so order spares to match.

The thing to understand before you buy is the curve. A curved hilt sits differently in the palm — it angles the blade slightly off the line of the forearm, which is what gives this saber its fluid, wrist-led handling and its rapid transitions. The installed version arrives complete — Proffieboard V3.9 fitted and calibrated by Elf Sabers, battery included and preconfigured, 15 licensed K-Sith sound fonts loaded free, and the whole saber tested before shipment. The Empty Collector Shell is the precision machined hilt with its removable internal chassis and no electronics at all, for custom builders and collectors.

What does the curved hilt actually change?

Quite a lot. The curve angles the blade slightly off the line of your forearm, which naturally encourages wrist-driven strikes and fast directional changes rather than heavy, shoulder-driven swings. Combined with the balanced weight distribution, that is what gives the Veiled its technical, fluid handling — and it is the single biggest reason to choose this hilt over a straight one.

Does it have to be a yellow blade?

No. The yellow blade is central to this saber’s identity and to the character of the design, but blade colors and profiles are fully customizable on the installed version, so you can set it to whatever you want and return to yellow whenever you like.

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Only within the limits this saber claims for itself. The hilt is CNC machined aluminum over a removable internal chassis and the blade is 1 inch polycarbonate, so the construction is genuine. But the Veiled is built for speed, flow and controlled movement, and what we state for it is choreography, spinning and light dueling practice. That is the honest boundary — it is a technical performer’s saber, not a heavy full-contact sparring weapon.
