NEO Sabers Review 2026: Shipping, Returns and Warranty Compared

The Senate combat saber, chrome hilt with a gold band and a red blade, shot on concrete

Short answer: NEO Sabers is one of the largest saber sellers online, with an enormous content operation and a wide catalogue. They publish "within 10-14 working days of order placement" for delivery, which is faster than us. The thing to read before you order is their cancellation policy: a "$20 restocking fee", no cancellation after 24 hours, and non-refundable payment processing fees.

What this review is and is not. We have not bought, handled or tested a NEO Sabers product, and we are a direct competitor. So this is not a build-quality review and we are not going to pretend it is. It is a review of what they publish about shipping, cancellations, returns and warranty — quoted verbatim from their own site, checked August 2026 — because those are the terms you are actually agreeing to when you click buy, and almost nobody reads them first.

What they publish

NEO Sabers StarForged
Time to arrive "within 10-14 working days of order placement" 21–31 business days
Cancellation window "Orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours" Before build starts, ask us
Restocking fee "$20 restocking fee" None
Payment fees on refund "PayPal Fee and credit card processing Fee is not refundable" Refunded in full
Return window Not stated on the pages we checked 30 days
Who pays return postage Not stated on the pages we checked We do — prepaid label
Warranty Not stated on the pages we checked 1 year, manufacturing defects
Dueling rating Not stated on the pages we checked Stated per configuration

Four "not stated" entries is worth noticing on its own. We looked at their shipping and returns page, their FAQ page and their modification and cancellations policy. Warranty length, return window and return postage were not on any of them.

That does not mean they do not have a warranty. It means you would have to ask, and we think you should ask before ordering rather than after.

Where NEO Sabers beats us

Genuinely, in three places.

They are faster

10–14 working days to your door against our 21–31 business days. If your saber has a date attached — a birthday, a convention, a shoot — that gap matters and we are the wrong choice.

The catalogue is far larger

They carry a much wider range of hilt designs than we do. If you have a specific silhouette in mind, the odds of finding it there are simply higher.

The content library is enormous

They publish extensively — buying guides, lore explainers, technical walkthroughs. Whatever you think of it as marketing, if you are researching your first saber there is a lot of free information there.

Where we would push back

The 24-hour cancellation window

Their published policy states orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours, and that cancellation within that window carries a "$20 restocking fee". On a several-hundred-dollar purchase, that is a narrow window and a real fee.

Our position is different, and we will state it plainly rather than pretend it is a small thing: we take returns for 30 days, we send a prepaid label, and there is no restocking fee. If you change your mind, it costs you nothing.

The unrefunded processing fee

Their policy states "PayPal Fee and credit card processing Fee is not refundable". It is a small percentage, but it means a refund is not a full refund.

The missing durability statement

We could not find a per-product or per-configuration statement about what is rated for contact and what is not.

We think that matters, because it is the single most consequential thing a buyer can get wrong. A pixel blade carries an LED strip inside it. A baselit blade is a hollow tube. Under heavy repeated contact those behave very differently, and a buyer deserves to be told which one they are looking at. Our premium collector pieces say on the page that they are built for display and controlled handling, because we would rather lose the order. The full reasoning is in best saber for dueling.

NEO Sabers alternatives

If you are here because you are comparing:

  • Want it faster? Nsabers publish "2–4 business days" to ship and "7–12 days" to deliver, with a "one-year warranty covering any issues due to manufacturing defects".
  • Want to compare several manufacturers at once? CCSabers resells TXQ, LGT and 89 Sabers with a "12-month full electronics warranty". Check which brand you are adding to the cart — by their own description 89 Sabers are "primarily designed for light dueling and display".
  • Want to choose your own board and blade length, with a real way out? That is us. Three boards, three blade lengths, 30 days free returns, one-year warranty. You wait longer for it.

Who should buy from NEO Sabers

Buy from them if you want a specific hilt design they carry and we do not, or if you need it inside two weeks. Both are perfectly good reasons and we would rather you got the right saber than our saber.

Go in having asked them three questions first:

  1. How long is the warranty, and what does it cover?
  2. What is the return window, and who pays return postage?
  3. Is this specific configuration rated for full contact dueling?

Ask us the same three. Our answers are one year on manufacturing defects, 30 days with us paying postage, and yes with the baselit configuration being the resilient one.

Common questions

Are NEO Sabers legit?

They are an established seller with a large catalogue and published policies. Nothing we found suggests otherwise. Our reservations are about specific policy terms, not legitimacy.

How long does NEO Sabers take to ship?

Their published figure is "within 10-14 working days of order placement" for delivery. Note that is order-to-door, not order-to-dispatch.

Can you cancel a NEO Sabers order?

Their policy states modification and cancellation are available within 24 hours of ordering, with a "$20 restocking fee", and that orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours.

Does NEO Sabers have a warranty?

Not stated on the shipping, returns, FAQ or cancellation pages we checked. Ask before ordering.

Have you tested a NEO Sabers product?

No. This page reviews published policy only, and we have said so at the top rather than implying hands-on experience we do not have.

What happens after you order with us

Orders ship within 14–21 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes a further 7–10 days, in the US and internationally. Shipping within the US is free; international is a flat $50.

Returns are free for 30 days. If it is not right, you will not pay to send it back to us. The saber needs to come back unused and undamaged in its original packaging, and you email us first so we can send you a prepaid label and instructions. Every saber carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
