Short answer: Nsabers is a real seller with genuinely low entry prices, but its own website currently contradicts itself on the three things that matter most — whether you can duel with the saber, whether you can return it, and what the warranty actually covers. We are a competitor, so read this accordingly. Everything below is quoted from pages Nsabers publishes itself, checked on 8 September 2026, and you can verify all of it in about ten minutes.
We are not going to tell you their sabers are bad. We have not tested them and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do is read their policies carefully, which is a thing most buyers do not do until after something has gone wrong.
The three contradictions
1. Duelling
Nsabers' FAQ states that their lightsabers are "engineered for full-contact dueling."
Their warranty page excludes from coverage "damage resulting from sparring, dueling, impact, drops, blade strikes."
Both of those are on their live site at the same time. The marketing claim and the legal document point in opposite directions, and it is the legal document that governs what happens when you file a claim. If you are buying a saber to duel with, this is not a footnote — it is the entire purchase.
To be fair to them: most manufacturers in this category exclude combat damage from warranty. That is normal. What is not normal is advertising full-contact duelling on one page while excluding duelling damage on another.
2. Returns
Their refund policy grants a 30-day return window.
Their FAQ says: "We don't accept returns or provide refunds for preference-based reasons."
"I didn't like it" is a preference-based reason, and it is the most common reason anybody returns a saber. So a buyer reading the refund policy and a buyer reading the FAQ come away with materially different expectations of what happens if the saber arrives and they are not happy with it.
There are further conditions attached that are worth knowing before you order: returns require the item to be unopened, there is a $30 restocking fee, and there is now a 10% cancellation fee if you cancel an order.
Read "unopened" carefully. It means the return route closes the moment you take the saber out of the box to see whether you like it.
3. The warranty
Their homepage advertises "up to One Year full warranty."
Their warranty policy is headed "One (1) Year Limited Warranty." It covers parts only, and the customer pays all shipping — both directions.
"Full" and "limited, parts-only, you pay shipping" are not the same product. On an international shipment, paying freight both ways on a warranty claim can approach the value of a budget saber.
And the shipping estimate
Shipping policy: "8 -15 business days." FAQ: "Delivery usually takes 7–12 days." Those are different numbers in different units. It is the smallest of the four inconsistencies, but it is the fourth one, and at some point a pattern stops being a series of typos.
What Nsabers is good at
Two things, and both are real.
The entry price is genuinely low. Their range runs from $99.99 to $359.99. Our cheapest saber is $115. If your budget has a hard ceiling under a hundred dollars, we do not have anything for you and they do. That is a straightforward win for them.
They are faster than us. Even taking the slower of their two published estimates, 8–15 business days beats our 14–21 business days before shipping. If you need a saber by a date, that difference matters and we are not going to argue it away.
One thing to know about the pricing
Across their catalogue, every compare-at price is exactly double the sale price. Every single one.
A permanent, catalogue-wide 50% "discount" is a pricing presentation rather than a sale. The sale price is the price. Judge the saber on the number you will actually pay, not on the saving displayed next to it — that number is decoration.
How we compare, honestly
| Nsabers | StarForged | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $99.99 — cheaper than us | $115 |
| Top of range | $359.99 | $699 |
| Time to ship | 8–15 business days (their slower published figure) — faster than us | 14–21 business days |
| Returns | 30 days, item must be unopened, $30 restocking fee, 10% cancellation fee | 30 days, free, prepaid label, saber returns unused in original packaging |
| Warranty | One year limited, parts only, customer pays shipping both ways | One year against manufacturing defects |
| Policy consistency | Four contradictions between FAQ, policy pages and homepage | Judge for yourself — our terms are on one page |
The line that matters most in that table is the returns row, and specifically the word unopened. Our return window survives you opening the box and holding the saber. Theirs, as written, does not.
Where we lose
They are cheaper at the bottom and we cannot match it. $99.99 is below our floor. If price is the only variable, this comparison ends there and they win it.
They are faster. We build each saber to the configuration you chose, which takes 14–21 business days. That is a real cost of how we work, not a queue we are going to clear.
We have not tested their sabers. Everything above is about their published policies, because that is what we can verify. It is entirely possible their hilts are good. A well-made saber sold under contradictory policies is still a well-made saber — it just carries a risk you should be aware of before you pay.
And we are a competitor writing about a competitor. Do not take our word for any of it. The quotes above are on their live site; go and read them.
If you are looking at Nsabers, look at these too
Roughly matched on what you would actually pay:
- E11-A Black — $115 baselit, $179 neopixel. Our closest answer to their entry tier.
- Survivor SE — $189 baselit, $249 neopixel. The one we recommend most often.
- Darth SE — $175 baselit, $250 neopixel.
- Fulcrum SE — $229 baselit for two complete sabers, $279 neopixel. Nothing in their range does this.
- Menace SE — $225 baselit, $299 neopixel, two blades in the box either way.
- Guard SE — $199 baselit, $275 neopixel.
All of them appear on Neopixel Sabers, and the configurations we would hand to someone who actually duels are on Duel-Ready Sabers.
Common questions
Is Nsabers legit?
They are a real company selling real sabers with published policies, so yes in that sense. The concern is not legitimacy — it is that their published policies contradict each other on duelling, returns and warranty coverage, which means a buyer cannot tell from the site which version applies to them.
Can you duel with an Nsabers lightsaber?
Their FAQ says the sabers are engineered for full-contact duelling. Their warranty excludes damage from sparring, duelling, impact, drops and blade strikes. Read both before you decide, because the warranty is the document that governs a claim.
What is Nsabers' return policy?
Their refund policy gives 30 days, but the item must be unopened, there is a $30 restocking fee, and a 10% cancellation fee applies to cancelled orders. Separately, their FAQ states they do not accept returns for preference-based reasons.
How long does Nsabers take to ship?
Their shipping policy says 8–15 business days; their FAQ says delivery usually takes 7–12 days. Either way it is faster than we are, and we build to order in 14–21 business days.
Are Nsabers prices actually 50% off?
Every compare-at price on their catalogue is exactly double the sale price, which makes it a permanent pricing presentation rather than a sale. The number you pay is the real price.
Is Nsabers or StarForged better?
They are cheaper and faster. We are clearer about what you are agreeing to, and our return window does not end when you open the box. If the deciding factor is price, buy from them. If it is what happens when something goes wrong, read both sets of policies and pick.
What warranty does Nsabers offer?
A one-year limited warranty covering parts, with the customer paying shipping in both directions. Their homepage describes it as "up to One Year full warranty," which is not the same thing as the policy document it links to.
Where to start
If you are comparing sellers rather than sabers, our four-way comparison is the wider version of this page. If you have settled on us and just need the configuration decided, is a neopixel saber worth it puts real numbers on the upgrade and the 2026 buyer's guide covers the range.
What happens after you order with us
Orders ship within 14–21 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes a further 7–10 days, in the US and internationally. Shipping within the US is free; international is a flat $50.
Returns are free for 30 days. If it is not right, you will not pay to send it back to us. The saber needs to come back unused and undamaged in its original packaging, and you email us first so we can send you a prepaid label and instructions. Every saber carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Every Nsabers quotation on this page is taken verbatim from pages published on nsabers.com and was checked on 8 September 2026. Policies change; if you are reading this later, verify before relying on it. Our own prices are live catalogue prices as of the same date. We sell competing products and you should weigh this article accordingly.
