Design Inspiration

The Redeemed Darth SE is a tribute to the last chapter of a tragic journey. While the visual DNA draws directly from the hilt he carried at the end of the original trilogy, the redesign imagines a weapon constructed after the Dark Lord begins to doubt his path. The removal of the control box symbolizes the shedding of old chains. The streamlined grip and optimized geometry represent clarity, balance, and the faint spark of the Chosen One’s return.

SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the exact point of impact. No setup needed on your part, and this is where most collectors land.

Proffie Pixel — The same pixel blade, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, advanced gesture controls, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie if you want to tinker. Choose SNV4 if you want it perfect out of the box.

Finish — High-polish chrome throws light and reads loud on a display stand. The satin hybrid is quieter, shows fingerprints far less, and suits a hilt that is going to be carried and used. Neither changes the machining; both change the mood.

Blade length — 32” is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default. 26” suits shorter wielders, tight choreography and indoor sparring. 36” is reach and display presence.

One thing worth knowing before you order: the Redeemed Darth SE takes a 1” blade — thicker-walled, brighter, and not interchangeable with 7/8” hilts, so match what you already own. At roughly a pound over 11.5 inches, with the enlarged ribbed grip and no control box in the way, this is the version of the Dark Lord’s hilt built to actually be swung rather than admired.

Common Questions

Is this saber suitable for real dueling?

Yes. Aircraft-grade machined aluminum over a reinforced removable core, and a combat-grade polycarbonate blade rated for full contact. For heavy, frequent use the S-RGB configuration is the most resilient; pixel blades are duel-ready too, but carry more electronics inside the blade.

Should I choose the high-polish chrome or the satin hybrid?

Chrome for display — it catches every light in the room. Satin hybrid for use — it hides fingerprints and handling marks far better. The hilt underneath is identical either way.

How is this different from the earlier Darth SE?

Different chapter, different hilt. This one draws on the weapon carried at the end of the story rather than the beginning, with an enlarged ribbed grip and a polished steel–accented profile. Both remove the control box; this is the later, larger-gripped design.

What does the kill switch actually do?

It cuts power at the source instead of leaving the board idling. That means longer battery life between charges, and safe transport or storage without the saber waking up in a bag.
