Empty hilt — Not a bare shell. The empty version includes the complete Master Chassis hilt assembly — gold-plated brass framework, spinning assemblies, crystal chamber — without electronics, for advanced collectors and custom builders who intend to fit their own board. Blade platform — The Dark Lord runs a one inch combat-ready polycarbonate blade in a 32 inch standard configuration. Thirty-two inches is the standard adult length and the proportion this hilt was drawn around — enough reach for the slow, deliberate, weighted forms the design invites, and enough presence to dominate a stand. A 1 inch blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than a 7/8 inch blade; a 7/8 inch blade is lighter and faster. The two are not interchangeable between hilts, so order spares to match.
