Fulcrum CW
THE FULCRUM CW
A shadow of the republic. A blade of balance. The exiled apprentice’s legacy refined.
The Fulcrum CW Saber is inspired by the elegant shoto wielded by a former knight who walked away from the Order and forged her own path through the chaos of a galaxy-wide war. Seen in the final arcs of the source material, this compact secondary blade represents precision, agility, and absolute control in motion.
Designed for speed over strength and clarity over aggression, this saber embodies a warrior who no longer fights for doctrine, but for truth.
When ignited, the Fulcrum CW feels less like a weapon of war, and more like an extension of instinct itself.
Design Inspiration
This saber is based on the dual shoto configuration carried through the final arcs of that war, capturing the refined evolution of the exiled apprentice’s combat style as she transitions from apprentice to independent adept.
Key design principles include:
- Compact shoto proportions for enhanced agility
- Streamlined emitter geometry for fast directional control
- Clean, purposeful detailing inspired by the animated design language of the war era
- Balanced weight distribution for dual wield integration
Every element is shaped around motion, precision, and adaptability in close quarters combat.

Choosing Your Configuration
Three boards. Three blade lengths. Here is what actually changes when you pick.
S RGB Baselit — One high-output LED seated in the hilt, lighting a diffused blade. Bright, brutally durable, and the configuration built for sparring, choreography and repeated blade impact. Because the electronics stay in the hilt rather than running the length of the blade, this is the setup that absorbs punishment best. Smooth swing behaviour and responsive sound are included. If this saber is going to be used hard and used often, this is the one.
SNV4 Pixel — An LED strip running the full length of the blade. Ignition and retraction travel up and down the blade, and flash-on-clash fires at the point of impact rather than washing the whole blade at once. Advanced motion tracking, smooth swing audio and customizable blade effects, with no setup required on your part. This is where most collectors land.
Proffie V3.9 — The same cinematic pixel experience, driven by a fully programmable board. Advanced sound mapping, custom blade effects, ignition styles, motion responsiveness, and configuration files you can rewrite yourself. Choose Proffie to tinker. Choose SNV4 to have it perfect out of the box.
Blade length — Blades are offered at 26”, 32” and 36” depending on configuration. On a hilt this size, 26” is the natural answer: it is the length that keeps the shoto a shoto, and it is the fastest, tightest, most controllable setup we can put in your hand. 32” is the standard adult dueling length if you intend to run this saber as a primary rather than an offhand. 36” is reach and display presence, and it will feel long on a compact hilt — order it with that in mind.
Blade diameter — This hilt takes a one inch blade. A 1 inch blade is thicker-walled and throws more light than a 7/8 inch blade; a 7/8 inch blade is lighter and faster. They are not interchangeable between hilts, so check what you already own before you buy spares.
One piece of product-specific advice. The Fulcrum CW is short, light and agility-weighted — it is a spinner’s saber and an offhand saber before it is a bruiser. Paired with a full-length hilt it gives you the classic long-and-short setup; run alone with a 26” blade it is about as quick in the wrist as anything we build.

Common Questions
Is this a full-length saber or a shoto?
A shoto. The hilt is built at compact scale for offhand or dual wield use, which is exactly why it handles the way it does — light, fast in the wrist, quick to reverse. It runs perfectly well on its own; it simply was not designed to be the biggest thing on the rack.
Is this saber suitable for real dueling?
Yes. The hilt is precision machined aluminum alloy over a removable internal core, and the blade is a one inch polycarbonate blade in a duel ready configuration. For sparring, training and repeated blade impact the S RGB Baselit option is the most resilient of the three, because its LED system sits in the hilt rather than running the length of the blade. Pixel configurations duel too, but they carry more electronics inside the blade.
Which board should I choose?
S RGB Baselit if durability under repeated contact is the priority. SNV4 Pixel if you want the cinematic blade — travelling ignition, localized flash-on-clash — with nothing to configure. Proffie V3.9 if you intend to write your own sound mapping, ignition styles and blade effects.
Can I pair it with a full-length saber for dual wield?
That is precisely what the weight distribution was tuned for. The balance profile is agility focused and the proportions are offhand scale, so it sits naturally as the short half of a long-and-short pairing.
