All three options retain the same distinctive Starbreaker hilt and exposed red and blue spinning crystal chamber, but the electronics determine how the blade performs and how much customization you have available.

S RGB Baselit, Built for Dueling. This is the performance-focused configuration for customers who plan to actually wield their Starbreaker. The S RGB system keeps the LED technology inside the hilt rather than inside the blade, creating a more durable setup for controlled dueling, training, choreography, and repeated blade contact. It provides vibrant RGB colors, smooth swing, flash-on-clash, and responsive sound effects without the delicate electronics found inside a pixel blade. If your priority is durability and active use, S RGB is the configuration to choose.

SNV4 Pixel, Excellent straight out of the box, with no setup required on your part. Smooth swing, dynamic ignition effects, flash-on-clash, and fully customizable blade profiles are ready to go the moment you charge it. The pixel blade illuminates progressively during ignition and retraction, creating the cinematic appearance collectors expect from a premium saber. This is an excellent choice if you want impressive visual effects with a straightforward user experience.

Proffie Pixel, The same cinematic pixel blade experience, driven by a fully programmable board. Custom sound fonts, custom blade styles, advanced sound customization, and configuration files give experienced users extensive control over their saber. Choose Proffie if you want to customize the behavior of the Starbreaker to your exact preferences, including unique interactions between the blade and the red and blue crystal chamber.

Blade length, 32 inches is the standard adult dueling length and the safe default for most wielders. 26 inches suits shorter wielders, tighter choreography, and indoor sparring. 36 inches provides additional reach and a larger display presence.

Blade diameter, This hilt takes a 1 inch blade. S RGB uses a durable baselit blade, while the SNV4 and Proffie configurations use a 1 inch pixel blade. The blade systems are not interchangeable between configurations, so be sure to select the blade designed for your chosen electronics package.

Yes. The hilt is anodized aluminum alloy built around a precision-engineered removable internal assembly, and the blade is combat-ready polycarbonate rated for full contact. Note that this model is pixel-only, so there is no baselit option — pixel blades are duel-ready but carry more electronics inside the blade, so treat it accordingly during heavy, frequent sparring.

How does the dual red and blue crystal chamber work?

The chamber is exposed and spinning, with gold, brass and aluminum internal detailing, and it cycles between red and blue. Both boards let you control it — blue at idle and red in combat, or both colors spinning at once. It is the feature that makes this hilt read as a centerpiece rather than a replica.

How does the matte black differ from the chrome version?

Finish and attitude, not engineering. This edition is matte black anodized aluminum with black grip accents, so it absorbs light where the chrome reflects it. The silhouette, the chamber and the internals are the same design seen through a darker lens.
