Short answer: order by 11 November 2026. That is the last date that still arrives before Christmas if everything runs at its slowest — the full 21 business day build and the full 10 day delivery. Order by 20 November and you will probably be fine. Order on Black Friday and you will not.
We sell sabers that do not exist until you buy them, so the honest version of "will it arrive in time" is arithmetic rather than reassurance. Here is the arithmetic.
The two windows that decide everything
Every order passes through two stages, and both are published on the site rather than buried:
- Build: 14 to 21 business days. The hilt is machined, the chassis is assembled, the board is installed, the fonts are loaded and the whole thing is tested before it leaves.
- Transit: 7 to 10 days. Same range in the US and internationally.
Worst case that is 21 business days plus 10 days. Across November and December, with Thanksgiving on 26 November and the Christmas holidays falling inside the window, 21 business days is closer to five calendar weeks than four. That is the number that catches people out.

Read the Black Friday row again. The best case is Christmas Eve and the worst case is the second week of January. That is not a window anyone should plan a present around.
Why waiting for Black Friday costs you nothing and gains you nothing
This is the part that makes the decision easy. The Forge Sale runs the entire month — 1 November to 30 November 2026 — and the discount does not change inside it.
- BLACKFRIDAY is 20% off the cart, on 1 November and on 27 November alike.
- BOGO50 is 50% off the second saber, same on both dates.
- One code per order. They do not stack. Nothing is excluded.
So there is no discount to wait for. Waiting only shortens the delivery window. If it is a Christmas present, buy it in the first half of November at exactly the price you would have paid on Black Friday.
We are aware this is an unusual thing for a shop to publish in October. It is also the truth, and we would rather have the order early and the customer happy than take the money on 27 November and send an apology on the 23rd of December.
If you have already left it too late
Three honest options, in order of how much we would recommend them.
1. Buy it anyway and give it late. A saber arriving in the second week of January is still the same saber. Print the product page, wrap that, and be straight about it. In our experience nobody has ever minded as much as the buyer expected.
2. Buy something that is already built. If it genuinely has to be there on the day, a shop holding warehouse stock will beat us and we will not pretend otherwise. This is covered properly in how we compare to the other saber shops.
3. Talk to us first. If a build is going to run long we email you after the order rather than letting you find out from the tracking, and a refund is available if the window does not work for you. That is not a guarantee of a date — it is a guarantee that you will not be left guessing.
Ordering from outside the US
The same 7 to 10 day transit applies internationally, for a flat $50. What we cannot predict is customs. If your parcel is held, that sits outside both windows above and outside our control, so international orders for Christmas should go in earlier than 11 November rather than later.
Where we lose
We do not offer expedited build or expedited shipping. There is no paid option to jump the queue. Every order runs the same 14 to 21 business days, which is fair but inflexible.
We cannot give you a hard delivery date at checkout. You get a range, because the build is a range. Shops shipping from stock can promise a day; we cannot, and this has shown up in a review.
There is no gift wrapping, gift message or gift receipt, and no gift cards. If you need to buy a present without knowing which hilt they want, we currently have no good answer for you.
And we will not quote you a Christmas guarantee we cannot keep. 11 November is the date we believe in. We are not going to move it in late November because an order is on the table.
Common questions
What is the last day to order for Christmas 2026?
11 November to be certain. That assumes the slowest build and the slowest delivery. 20 November will probably work but is not guaranteed.
Will a Black Friday order arrive before Christmas?
No. An order on 27 November arrives between 24 December and 9 January. Cyber Monday is worse.
Do I lose the discount by ordering early?
No. The Forge Sale runs 1 to 30 November 2026 and the discount is identical throughout. 20% on 1 November is 20% on Black Friday.
Why does it take 14 to 21 business days?
Because the saber is built to your configuration after you order — hilt, chassis, board, fonts, then tested. Nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting.
Can I pay to make it faster?
No. We do not sell expedited build or shipping, so the only lever is ordering earlier.
What happens if my build runs long?
We email you rather than leaving you to work it out from the tracking, and a refund is available if the revised window does not suit you.
Is international delivery slower?
The transit window is the same 7 to 10 days at a flat $50, but customs can add time we cannot predict. Order earlier than 11 November if you are outside the US.
Can I return it if it arrives after Christmas?
Yes. Returns are free for 30 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging, with a prepaid label from us.

What happens after you order with us
Orders ship within 14–21 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes a further 7–10 days, in the US and internationally. Shipping within the US is free; international is a flat $50.
Returns are free for 30 days. If it is not right, you will not pay to send it back to us. The saber needs to come back unused and undamaged in its original packaging, and you email us first so we can send you a prepaid label and instructions. Every saber carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
All dates are calculated from our own published build window of 14–21 business days and shipping window of 7–10 days, measured against delivery by 23 December 2026, with Thanksgiving on 26 November and the Christmas holidays treated as non-working days.
