Best Lightsaber Gifts Under $200

StarForged Survivor SE, slim black and silver saber hilt shown in detail

Short answer: Survivor SE at $189 is the best saber we sell under $200. Machined aluminium, a sound board, a combat-grade blade, and a hilt stripped back for handling rather than display. If the budget is harder than that, E11-A Black at $115 is a real working saber and the money goes further than the styling suggests.

There is a second thing worth knowing, and it changes the list. During The Forge Sale — 1 to 30 November 2026 — the code BLACKFRIDAY takes 20% off, which pulls an entire tier of $219 to $249 hilts down under $200. A $249 saber becomes $199.20. We have worked out exactly which ones below.

Under $200 today, no code needed

Saber Price Why it is on the list
Survivor SE $189 The one we recommend most. Slim, well balanced, built around how it feels in the hand.
The Katana $179 A sword rather than a saber. The most interesting shape at this price.
Unstable Nephew SE $175 The crossguard silhouette, with two side blades in the box.
Solitude SE $175 Flat-blade katana profile. Distinctive, and a genuinely different thing to own.
Chosen One SE $175 The most recognisable hilt shape in the range, simplified.
Guard SE $199 Pike-proportioned, two-handed grip, 1-inch blade. Single-bladed despite the styling.
E11-A Black $115 No character styling, no story. The honest budget answer.

Every one of those prices is the baselit configuration. All of them are available in pixel too, at $249 to $299, which is a different conversation covered in is a neopixel saber worth it.

The $100 oddity: two blades for a hundred dollars

TSK-A07 DB is $100 baselit, and it is a genuine double-bladed staff — two blades in the box and a centre coupler, per its own listing. Nothing else in this category comes close on price for a staff.

The catch, and we would rather say it than have you find out: it is a plain production hilt in a gold and green finish with no design story behind it, its listing does not publish an assembled length, and a staff needs roughly twice the room of a single saber. If you want a blade at each end on the smallest possible budget, nothing beats it. If you want something that looks like a specific weapon from a specific scene, look elsewhere on this list.

What comes under $200 in November

With BLACKFRIDAY taking 20% off between 1 and 30 November, these all land under the line. This is the most interesting part of the month if $200 is a hard ceiling, because it buys you a noticeably better hilt than $200 does today.

Saber Normal price With BLACKFRIDAY
Survivor SE in SNV4 Pixel $249 $199.20
The Sage's Echo baselit $249 $199.20
Mandalore SE in SNV4 Pixel $249 $199.20
Fulcrum SE baselit — two sabers $229 $183.20
Electrum Wind SE baselit $229 $183.20
Menace SE baselit — two blades, coupler $225 $180.00
Irreversible Darkness baselit $219 $175.20

The standout is the pixel Survivor SE at $199.20. A full colour wheel and a lit blade on the hilt we already recommend most, for under $200. That is the single best thing on this page in November.

Second standout: Fulcrum SE at $183.20 is two complete sabers — a full-size hilt and a shorter shoto, two blades, each hilt with its own board and charger. Under $200 for a pair is not a thing that normally exists.

The codes do not work before 1 November, and they stop after 30 November. One code per order, and BLACKFRIDAY is the one that applies to a single saber.

What $200 does not buy

Being straight about the ceiling:

  • No Proffie. Our cheapest Proffie configuration is $209, and on most hilts it is $299 or more. Under $200 you are choosing between baselit and, in November, entry pixel.
  • No character replica of the expensive kind. The detailed screen-accurate builds start around $329 and run past $700.
  • No flat-blade Darksaber effect outside the November price on Mandalore SE, because that build is pixel-only.
  • Not a crossguard with the unstable blade effect. The $175 Unstable Nephew SE gives you the shape; the crackling blade needs a pixel board.

Where we lose

Our cheapest sabers are plain, and we know it. The E-series and TSK-series hilts at $100 to $179 are production shells without a design story. They work, they are metal, and they are honest value. They are not interesting to look at, and if that matters to you, spend the extra $60 on a Survivor SE.

We do not publish hilt weights on most listings. At this end of the range people are often buying for a younger wielder, and weight is exactly what you would want to know. Email us and we will weigh the specific model before you order.

We are slow. 14 to 21 business days to build, then 7 to 10 days to arrive. A $115 saber takes just as long as a $700 one, because neither exists until you order it.

And we do not sell replacement blades on the site. On a budget saber that will get used hard, the replacement cost matters. Ask us for a price before you commit.

Common questions

What is the best lightsaber under $200?

Survivor SE at $189 baselit. It is the hilt we point people at most often, at any price.

What is the cheapest real lightsaber you sell?

$100, in the E-series and TSK-series. That is a machined metal hilt with a sound board and a blade, not a toy.

Can I get a neopixel saber under $200?

Not at list price — pixel starts at $175 on the budget series and $249 on the better hilts. During November, 20% off brings the SNV4 Survivor SE to $199.20, which is the best under-$200 pixel saber we will ever have.

Is there a two-saber option under $200?

Yes, in November. Fulcrum SE at $229 becomes $183.20 with BLACKFRIDAY, and it is two complete sabers with two blades.

Does the 20% code work on the cheap sabers too?

Yes. There is no exclusion list — every hilt and every configuration is eligible, from $100 upwards.

Baselit or pixel at this budget?

Baselit, if it will be duelled with. The blade is an empty tube, so there is nothing inside to break. The full trade-off is in neopixel vs baselit.

What blade length should I order?

26 inches for indoors or a smaller wielder, 32 inches as the adult default. Every length costs the same here, so the decision is free — see the blade length guide.

When do the codes work?

1 November to 30 November 2026 only. BLACKFRIDAY for 20% off, BOGO50 for half off a second saber, one code per order.

Where to start

The beginner's guide is the shortest route to a decision at this budget, and neopixel vs baselit is the one choice that moves the price. If you are buying as a present, the gift guide has the delivery dates you need, and the full sale terms are on The Forge Sale page.

The baselit builds on this list live on Duel-Ready Sabers; the pixel configurations are on Neopixel Sabers.

What happens after you order with us

Orders ship within 14–21 business days. Once shipped, delivery takes a further 7–10 days, in the US and internationally. Shipping within the US is free; international is a flat $50.

Returns are free for 30 days. If it is not right, you will not pay to send it back to us. The saber needs to come back unused and undamaged in its original packaging, and you email us first so we can send you a prepaid label and instructions. Every saber carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Prices and configurations are our own live prices as of 7 October 2026 and may change. Discounted figures are calculated at 20% off those prices, before tax, and depend on the code being applied at checkout during the sale window of 1–30 November 2026. Blade counts and couplers are quoted from each product's own "what's included" list.
